Please contacts the Sailing Secretary at fixtures@boughbeechsc.org.uk to arrange or discuss any open meetings. A wide variety of class associations hold open meetings at BBSC allowing members access to competitive single fleet racing at their home club and offering visitors the opportunity to sail at one of the best inland locations in the South East. In return many members also take the opportunity to travel to other clubs for events.
Visiting an Open Meeting at Bough Beech
A warm welcome awaits you at Bough Beech Sailing Club which offers great inland sailing and racing in a scenic rural setting.
Upon arrival at the club, please park in the visitors’ car park where there is plenty of space to unpack your boat. Participants will need to register for the event on our webcollect account displayed on this page. Notices of race and sailing instructions are available in the clubhouse and in advance on the club website. A pre-race briefing from the race officer will cover any additional information and instructions. Launching is easy down a concrete ramp and jetty in front of our club house which contains changing rooms and hot showers on the ground floor. The clubhouse galley serves tasty homemade hot meals, snacks and drinks. Please order any lunches before the morning races. Your guests are welcome to stay and watch the racing from the clubhouse, balcony or lawns in front of the clubhouse. We look forward to welcoming you at Bough Beech.
SES water do not permit dogs within the grounds and car park at Bough Beech Sailing Club.
