2026 Annual General Meeting
Sunday 8th March 2025 at 2.30pm in the clubhouse
All BBSC members are invited to attend.
The business of the AGM is to elect Officers, the general committee and the Honorary Auditor. The annual accounts and the annual safety report will be presented and any other business on the agenda will be considered. The proposed fees for 2026-2027 will be presented and voted upon.
We will also hear about progress on the first 2 phases of the Development Plan i.e the balcony replacement and the new, remote Boatshed.
All members of the General Committee are deemed to retire at the General Meeting but may offer themselves for re-election, subject to any restrictions under Rule 17(aa) regarding Flag Officers term of office. The General Committee always needs new volunteers to come forward and this year a new Hon Secretary will be needed. Information on the committee roles can be obtained from the Hon Secretary or on the Club website under Membership & Duties / Committees.
The AGM formal business typically takes a little over an hour. A buffet will be provided and the bar will be open.
Matters for consideration at this general meeting must be submitted to the Hon Secretary by 1st February (secretary@boughbeechsc.org.uk}. Any apologies for absence can also be sent to the Hon Secretary. The agenda will be circulated 2 weeks before the AGM, including any matters for discussion at the meeting.
The 2026 AGM agenda, 2025 AGM draft minutes (for approval), Safety Reports, General Committee nominations, proposed fees and proposed matters to be considered will also be posted on the website page when available.
Club racing will take place in the morning as normal on 8th March but there will be no afternoon racing that day.
