The 2018 Weald of Kent Sailing Association (WKSA) Interclub championship was hosted by Weir Wood SC on Sat 13th October. Bough Beech sent a senior team of Pete Young (Laser) Elliot Marks (Laser radial), Ian Gregory and Peter Wolstenholme (Snipe) and Richard Sharp (Finn). Congratulations to Sergio who won the Alec Rose Trophy and become this year's club champion.  Well done to Connie, Luka and Nick who won the ladies, youth and veterans' trophies.  Twenty-seven boats took part and money was raised for Kent Air Ambulance and the local sea scouts. A fond farewell to Mark & Tracy who have left Bough Beech Galley yesterday for pastures new.  Many thanks for all their hard work and great food and we wish them all the best for the future.

Our annual Sailing Week returns this August 20-24th. Five days of sailing training and fun for young members from 8 years old and upwards run by the Bough Beech instructors.  Cost £185 (£160 if using your own boat) inclusive of lunch and snacks.  Further details below.  Apply by August 7th.
